Jim McKie takes win at stop #2 – Mississippi River – Alma, WI

Steady weather coming into this event, anglers were looking to
improve on weights from the first event. 78 anglers and
co-anglers were set to fish this event.
Jim McKie of Alma, WI took first place with a total weight of
16.26 lbs, anchored by the big bass of the day at 4.22lbs. On
stage he was very tight lipped not wanting to share any info.
When asked by tournament director if he was flipping or cranking
or what? He said Cranking with a big grin on his face; you can
read into that what you would like.
2nd place was held down by Michael Feldermann of
Galena, IL. Michael was just barely edged out of first place,
as he had 16.00lbs. Michael agreed to interview but was rushed
away to confirm details of his Triton Gold incentives and the
winds started gusting and everyone dispersed to get their boats
of the beach.
Randy Burch took 3rd place with a mixture of green
and brown fish for 15.25lbs, targeting sand bars with Swim Jigs.

Co-Angler winner was Richard Conrad, he said that it was a “Real
Grind”, working hard all day flipping grass with creature baits
to amass his 3 fish limit of 11.14lbs. See video interview
